CRISP and eClinicalWorks Partnership

CRISP is working with eClinicalWorks to integrate to enable practices to receive bi-directional HIE data directly into their electronic health record. As part of this project, practices will be connected directly to the CRISP eCW hub, allowing this data to be exchanged automatically, so that providers do not need to leave their systems.  Practices that use the eClinicalWorks EHR system and are interested in exploring this program are encouraged to contact ZaneNet or CRISP to get more information about this initiative and to participate.

Open FDA Eases Public Access to Health Data Sets

In June, FDA announced the launch of OpenFDA, an initiative from the FDA Office of Informatics and Technology Innovation (OITI,) designed to make it easier for developers, researchers, and the public to access and use its large health data sets in a structured, computer-readable format, using a search-based Application Programming Interface (API).
